Is a room air conditioner with dual vent tubes more efficient than the types with just 1 vent tube?
. . . The single vent tube is used to exhaust heat from the condenser, but it uses some cooled air from the room being cooled to do this. The dual-vent-tube models have a separate tube to use outside air to absorb the condenser's heat and a second tube to exhaust the heated air.
actually, a PORTABLE room air conditioner (which you can roll on wheels to any room that has a window)
If they're the same in all other respects, the one with two vent hoses would have to be more efficient because it's not exhausting the air from the room you just paid to have conditioned.
