First a little about me. I have been suffering with allergies my entire life, or at least long as I can remember. I have taken every over the counter and every prescription allergy medication that is available today. To make a long story short I want to share with 3 factors that you must know before buying an air purifier that I learned:

1. When shopping for an air purifier price does matter. If you spend 20 bucks on an air purifier you are going to get a noise maker. So please set yourself a decent spending limit of $150 to $200. This seems to be around the price where the Best Air purifiers start.

2. Decide if you want to clean the air in one room or in your entire house. Purchasing a purifier to clean the entire house will be a bit more expensive than a single Room Air ionizer purifier.

3. You must decide what type of technology that you want for your air purifier. I know this all seems a bit complicated right now but trust me it is very important. The 2 types of technology are:

• Passive - which is when the air get cleaned inside the purifier
• Active - is when the cleaning of the air occurs outside of the purifier, in other words the technology goes out to clean the air.

So my advice is before you decide on an air ionizer purifier make sure you do your research and keep these important factors in your mind when buying. Trust me when I say that I am living proof that an air ionizer purifier can do wonder for allergies and asthma.
